The embedded philosophy behind Ganesh Science College is to provide technical literacy, critical thinking and problem-solving through science education that gives students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life. Through science education, the institute attempts to provide the students with life-long skills those equip them in generating ideas, weight decisions intelligently and even understand the evidence behind public policy-making.
Ganesh Science College operates in two campuses. The Bhubaneswar campus was set up in 2009 is currently functioning in its sprawling 25 acres campus in Andharua. And the second one at Chandikhole was set up in 2005, operates in a 10 acres campus.
The institute is promoted by Ganesh Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) which is one of the oldest technical institute in private sector in the state of Odisha. GIET was set up in 1990 by a group of technocrats and is supported by some of the leading industrial houses and guided by academicians of repute. Being the oldest institute, GIET has become a household name ITI, Diploma & +2 Science in the state.
The college provides both residential and day-boarding facilities for its students. From its inception, faculties and students have developed an academic atmosphere that not only binds the students and faculties, but also it enables the college to respond to the academic, sociocultural and emotional needs of the students.
